We select the label material, ink and printing method according to the product’s washing conditions. This helps the text and care symbols remain clear after repeated washing, rubbing and contact with detergents.

 

However, actual wash durability depends on the material, ink, printing method and laundering conditions. Therefore, each project should confirm the required performance through testing.

2. Clear and Appropriate Information Layout

For the Chinese market, we can arrange textile care symbols with reference to the current GB/T 8685-2008 standard when it applies.

 

For export products, we arrange the label content and symbol system according to the destination market, customer requirements and applicable standards.

3. Soft Label Materials
  • Polyester satin: smooth and soft, making it suitable for the inside of clothing
  • Polyester or nylon tape: lightweight and durable for standard clothing care labels
  • Tyvek® or similar synthetic materials: lightweight and water-resistant for outdoor products and special applications
  •  Cotton: a natural feel for products that emphasize organic or traditional styling

Each material offers a different balance of softness, wash resistance, print quality and cost. For this reason, we recommend the material according to the product and label position.
