Custom Woven Labels​

Woven labels are made on a loom by interlacing threads directly into a predefined design. Unlike printed labels, the logo, text and graphics are woven into the fabric itself, creating a durable, dimensional finish that withstands repeated washing and long-term use.

Polyester is the most commonly used yarn because of its durability, color stability and clean detail. Cotton, rayon and other specialty yarns can also be used for different textures and applications. Fine-density jacquard weaving produces sharper lettering and detailed logos, while satin or selvage constructions provide a smoother, softer feel.

Woven labels can be customized as main labels, neck labels, size labels and decorative branding labels. Size, shape, thread colors, folding style and backing can all be customized from artwork or an existing sample, including sew-on and heat-seal options.

Woven Label Types & Options

Woven labels can be made with different yarns, weaving structures and finishing methods. Each option creates a different look and feel. Fine-density weaving is suitable for small lettering and detailed logos, while satin and selvage constructions provide a softer touch. Folding style, backing and edge finishing can also be customized. The best choice depends on the artwork, label size, required hand feel and final application.

Jacquard Woven Labels

The logo, text and pattern are woven directly into the label. Fine-density weaving can produce small lettering and detailed designs with good clarity. These labels are durable and suitable for most branding applications.

Satin & Selvage Woven Labels

Satin constructions provide a smooth surface and a softer hand feel. Selvage edges create a clean and comfortable finish. These options are often used for underwear, babywear and premium garments.

Cotton Woven Labels

Cotton yarn can provide a softer and more natural texture. The surface usually has a less glossy and more organic appearance. It is often chosen for childrenswear, home textiles and brands that prefer a natural style.

Main & Neck Labels

These labels are commonly used to display a brand name, logo or other product information. They are usually sewn into the neckline, waistband or another visible branding position. Size, shape and folding style can be customized.

Size Woven Labels

Small woven labels can be made for sizes such as XS, S, M, L and XL. Clear lettering is especially important because these labels are usually very small. They can be produced as separate labels or combined with a main label.

Iron-on Woven Labels

A heat-activated adhesive layer can be added to the back of the woven label. The label can then be applied with a heat press or suitable ironing equipment. This option is commonly used for clothing, hats, bags, patches and other textile products.

Customization Options

If you already have artwork, a physical sample or a clear idea of the result you want, we can work from it. Size, yarn, color, fold, backing and finishing can all be adjusted to suit the final product. If you are not sure which option is best, we can also recommend a suitable construction based on the application.

Size & Shape

If you need the label to fit a specific neckline, seam or branding area, the size can be adjusted accordingly. Standard rectangular labels are common, but custom shapes can also be produced for suitable designs.

Yarn & Colors

If you want the woven label to match your brand colors, different thread colors can be selected from available yarn options. Multiple colors can be woven into one design, and a reference sample can be used for closer color matching.

Folding Styles

If the way the label is sewn matters to your garment design, we can recommend a suitable fold. Common options include straight cut, end fold, center fold and loop fold.

Material & Texture

If you are looking for a softer, smoother or more natural feel, the yarn and weaving structure can be adjusted. Polyester is widely used, while cotton, rayon and other yarns can create different textures and appearances.

Backing Options

If you prefer an application that does not require normal sewing, heat-activated backing can be added. The best backing option depends on the fabric, product and intended use.

Edge & Finishing

If the label needs a cleaner edge, a specific shape or a special finished appearance, different cutting and finishing methods can be considered. We can recommend the process according to the label construction and final application.
